Your only tring to run psx games right, if so then get the theme and flash everything exept the opening_plugin.rco.
but newly decrypted 3.40 rcos specially the opening_plugin.rco saves you from the psx problem :p

Well it would appear that everyone's help here has certainly fixed my dilemma. I can enjoy 90% of the custom themes but must avoid the opening_plugin unless it's specifically mentioned to be a 3.40-friendly one. i think the post in 'Customise your PSP' that has all these themes needs to be altered - I don't think I made a simple noob mistake...

EDIT: Oh well, if there's a way to avoid avoiding the opening_plugin.rco then I'm all up for hearing about it.

ffs... I've flashed everything except the the opening_plugin.rco and my PSX games work.
But now my ISOs don't...
I remember a time when the idea of a themed PSP was a happy thought in my mind... lol!
