I've tried everything I can think of but my PSP won't play ISOs any more. The only thread I found on Google with a similar problem is here: http://www.lan.st/showthread.php?p=3904 and as you can see it's not much help.

Man, all I wanted was some funky icons and it's broken my PSP. I am sad that I've now got to go and buy another one...
Uhh.. you don't need to buy a new PSP =/ its not like its a brick isit?
No. It does everything but play ISOs but considering I use it as a games console 90% of the time and all my games have suddenly become unplayable, I see no other option.
mmzzzz.... the recovery settings are all correct? and did you do the colour font??

Quote:Ok, check all your settings, in Recovery mode.

       Recovery Mode > Configuration
Use No-UMD - DISABLED (Remember to put a UMD in the drive)

Recovery Mode > Advanced > Advanced Configuration
Plain Module in UMD/ISO - ENABLED
            Execute BOOT.BIN in UMD/ISO - DISABLED
Use isofs driver also in UMD-inserted mode - DISABLED
This is the only thing i can think of now delete the se.config file from flash1.
its gonna reset your recovery to default. then put the settings back how they were.
Ok, cool. I shall try both of these suggestions in about 2 hours. I need to go and swear my Oath of Allegiance now - I'm joining the army in two weeks. :)
Ok say I'm back to face my limping PSP. I cranked everything up and got ready to try and breath one last breath of life into it... and it worked. BluDevil, I followed your quote and it appears my settings were different to the ones you've shown - interesting because I'd not been into that particular menu once (the word 'advanced' scares me). But nonetheless, I set it up as shown et voila! I'm back in happy land.
Amusingly my PC crashed out and had a RAM failure when I connected my PSP to it so I had to fix that mess before I could start back on the PC...

Once again guys, thank you all very much in guiding me, a complete stranger, through a harrowing time when I thought my favourite toy was fuct.
See? My Spoonfeeding quotes are the best lolz.... (I use them alot in PSP-Hacks)
