Correct...the paf works fine in the editor because it was not changed, but the vshmain has new data that moves the offsets and doesn't show a valid file in the editors.

It would make sense that if that ordering WAS changed after 3.52, then that could be the reason that theme had never been updated yet.
I got around the problem by playing with the transparencies of the main icon ;)
Ok I want to move three different text in the xmb but I don't know how: Main (Game, Music etc...), The submenu (memorystick, UMD etc...) and the Free space text. Does any one know the offsets for these both y and x because in the end I would like to have a big icon that says For example Game at the top, then Memory Stick at the bottom with Free Space 314mb under that.

i am back to my simple-but-can't-figure question of how to separate the main from the sub icons - i want my focused submenu icons way on top of the screen and my main xmb icon way below. please help. i also tried that paf offset many times but it just will not budge.

I think the best thing to do is create your own icons. But you can move the text around in the text data of the topmenu_plugin.rco. You can use control+enter to add new lines which moves your text downward, but I'm not sure how to move text to the top of the screen.

That offset is already found.
Space above line and space below line. Increase those values and the memory stick text will go up (that is above the line) and the free memeory space will go down (that's space below the line)
Problem here is all of your game/video/music/photo are now going to have the text that far apart.
