poo poo, i just realized that the site doesn't like people linking to it, and it turns up with an error message. Stupid site!
So if u still want to see the results, here's a link to the main site (which is allowed):
http://www.av-comparatives.org
click the comparatives tab on the side, and then one of the recent test results.
As for OneCare:
For the On Demand test, Microsoft OneCare failed rather hard.
For the Retorospective/ProActive test, it did alright.
Interestingly enough, the One Demand and Retrospective results varied a lot. Some products that are good in one turned up horrible in the other. And probably bad news to most people here, since most people seems to use AVG, AVG failed really hard on the Retrospective Test, one of the worst.
Oh, since u already paid for it (OneCare), u may as well use it. I mean it's not like the chance of getting hit by one of these polymorphic virus' that OneCare failed in is high anyways. Most likely, u won't get hit by something like that, so any anti-virus software is fine really.
Zinga doesn't even use antivirus, and claimed that he never got any virus. So yeah, overall, it doesn't matter that much.

Zone Alarm for firewall. Not neccessarity the best (i have no idea about what's the best), but it is free. And i don't like getting cracks for security software. But it's up to u.

meh... i guess the way u worded ur last post made me think that.

ok assassinator i have chosen zone alarm again purely because its one of the very few firewalls that work with vista and nod 32

By the way, when u said u got trojans after even when u had Zone Alarm back then, do u mean Zone Alarm the firewall, or the Zone Alarm internet security suite (firewall, antivirus and antispyware)?

Zone Alarm internet security suite
