Are ps3s region-free for games?
read topic... are they?

i plan on getting a store... i found to import some japanese games.

nope, the PS2 emulation is still region locked
Well, i huess pal games play on PAL systems...i assume you mean imports there?

what sony actually said was that there was a facility to region encode games but they would not be enforcing it (so it is an option for developers).

yes PS3's can play games from any region, but only PS3 games not PS1/PS2
