Okay im going to rename a ptf to custom_theme.dat 7 flash it to my flash1:vsh/resource & see what happens

Just want to know if it is not better to edit the cf itself instead of editing the rco files,. well anyway if a custom theme is going to work does not matter how,..
Also what did you do with the rco's that do work,..!?

Unhide system/hidden files.

Well yes but i mean changing the custom firmware instead of editing the rco to make it work,..
I am not talking about the ptf,..
More like hacking the (hacked)firmware,..

By the way if ptf is gonna work i would be happy 2,.. i got some nice new icon's and at the moment only 3 rco's work by flashing them,..

Zinga, I'm guessing since the PTF contains the system config icon thingy, that it is possible to use any icon in the PTF? I dunno just a wild stab :p
Also freestyle, the topmenu_icon.rco now has the icons :p
I haven't tried flashing any of the RCO's since latest ≠ greatest, IMO.
My brother has 3.71 M33 though so I was able to decompress the RCO's, if anyones interested here you go;
