hdmi and tv's?
hey guys. So i always thought my hdmi port on my laptop didnt work but recently i tried on like a computer monitor and it worked! But i tried it again on both of my hd tv's and it didnt work. Anyone know how to make this work on my tv? i don't completely understand why it would be different and not work

RE: hdmi and tv's?
Factors include:
- resolution/framerate
- TV overscan
- HDMI version

You may have to change some settings in your display driver.

Indeed, Zinga's on the money.

When it's connected, try adjusting the settings for the TV monitor on your computer to match its specifications, otherwise keep working down until you get a picture.

Zinga's wrong, you need to wash out your hdmi port.
