Ubuntu, HTC US sites feature new countdowns

Ubuntu, HTC US sites feature new countdowns

Both Ubuntu and HTC's US site feature identical countdowns.

I guess it'll be interesting. I'm kinda on the fence about the whole hype train Ubuntu creates whenever something like this happens. One one hand, it means Linux becomes bigger. On the other hand, Ubuntu's becoming like Apple, what with its whole secrecy/hype parts. On the third hand, the word 'Linux' is nowhere to be seen on Ubuntu's homepage. Note even on the 'about' section, or the 'Why is it free' section.

Ubuntu has become so commercial it's not even funny. Note how they don't even mention that Ubuntu is based on Debian. I've grown to hate it over the years for so many reasons. They now even include spyware in the latest release.

A-greed. Give me a package I can install overtop of my current Android OS that adds ubuntu phone OS features, look and functions. But Android is the only Linux OS the market needs.
