Hecai's Everyday Life Updates
for my everyday life, maybe i can read this back in the future, to see what have i been doing all this time. maybe regret it or not. as a friend said, I'm taking life for granted, maybe.

work (midnight to morning, go home (play, watch, build gunpla), sleep (afternoon to 10pm) routine. working 6 times a week. no outside life. can't find something interesting outside. stays at home when off. last socializing i did was a Halloween party, Nov 1, 2009. more than a year now... oh, watched inception and scott pilgrim with a friend last september.

nothing much this november,

thanksgiving yesterday, took some dinner with my mom and her husband (stepdad), which is like a compulsory holiday here in US.

doing almost nothing at home whenever not @ work. just watching random anime or movie to skip time.

still lazy to continue my current gundam project, only did the head, sword and sheath.

and i got my replacement for the Alien Facehugger replica, an item from the Alien vs Predator Hunter Edition, so got 2 now, the first one have broken tail, but i superglue it. the legs have wire inside so you can make them "hug" almost anything, pretty large in size, made in some kind of rubber, don't know.

gradually withdrawing from video game buying, only bought ac brotherhood + the collector's guide, which i like getting, due to them being nicely hardcover, i treat them as artbooks.

then impulsely bought little king's story (wii) 14$, final fantasy:4 heroes of light (ds) 15$, final fantasy 2 (psp) 10$, sid meier's pirates (psp) 10$ and pixeljunk monsters deluxe (psp) 10$. they're cheap/on sale. will play them then sell. should start listing my other games to ebay, but I'm too damn lazy.

got also the 1/6 Kos-Mos (from Xenosaga) Swimsuit Version figure, which is rare now, a seller from figure.fm sold it cheap, for him to fund his 1200$ doll XD

getting excited this december, I'm having a big haul on figures (20 total i think)
the boxes are pain, don't know where to put them, maybe in the garage ceiling lol.

i have 2 rooms in my apartment and I'm gradually moving all my stuff do the other room, making it a dedicated room for my stuff. i hope i can finish this december...

sorry, too long.

nothing.

You have nice collections. =3

Also I thought you stopped buying games? o.o'
I must've misread something about outgrowing them.
Anyways hope you had a good thanksgiving dood.

RE: Hecai's Everyday Life Updates
I'm resisting from games. so far it's working, skip alot of good sales, and its black friday today, no purchase must be done. I'm too impulsive, good thing i just bought cheap ones. working on it to stop. it's like an addiction, can't stop immediately XD
so far, only 1 game planned to buy this coming months, the super mario all-stars limited edition (wii) this december. hopefully no more comes to my mind.

thanksgiving... good i guess, i saw my mom for dinner.

nothing.

11-27-10 | 7:00am

just got home.

black friday sales, resisted video games, but did not resist books, bought hardcovers of
harry potter 1 - 7 boxset, read them already before, my 1 - 6 copy are on the philippines, and i want to read them again. will need to sell my book 7 or just send it to philippines, since they have 1 - 6 in there, my first copies.
diary of a wimpy kid 1 - 5, read some pages of book 1, i like it, so ordered all volumes.
and percy jackson 1 - 5 boxset, recommended by friend. read some chapters of book 1
looked at their category, they are all recommended for 9-12 years old lol. well, who cares, i like them.

also yesterday, just slept 2 hours before work. so i ended up drinking 4 Monster Energy Drink while working, and now even though i should be sleeping, my mind is wide awake... and working again tonight. hopefully my mind will shutdown soon.
one employee is on leave due to father's death and wee are busy doing reports, so i ended up having a schedule for this upcoming week, 7 nights, 10 hours per night, 70 hours total. not that bothered, nothing important to do at home  and i get 30 hours overtime pay lol.
hopefully they will give me monday off next next week though, so only 9 nights straight.

this is thread is turning into a diary ;D

nothing.

^ Interesting to read about other peoples' activities (that's why biographies are so popular, as well as Twitter, lol).
Work midnight to morning - what do you do?

RE: Hecai's Everyday Life Updates
Any reason why it needs to be at the time u do it though?
I don't really see much reason for a DBA to have to work late/early.

DBA isn't a bad job from what I've heard - they pay a fair bit.

RE: Hecai's Everyday Life Updates
i do back-ups/recovery and transferring data.
monitoring performance while doing that. + security.
the company just needs people to work midnight to do those, and i like working midnight.

for the pay, decent enough, more than the expected pay rate for my age XD

funny thing when working a graveyard shift, my day ends, other people, they are just about to start theirs ;D

nothing.
