SO i read about George Lucas donating 2.5 billion, half of his fortune, and if i am correct he is donating to school/education,.
What i find weird is why is't he donating to the people who really need money,. like right now!, eg in pakistan,.. complete houses are swept away over there,.. :(

If i was him i would have helped out there without anyone knowing,.. that would really be a good thing to do!! like a billionare batman would do haha.

plenty other donations were made i guess hopefully some goes there,.

It depends on how you want to view things. If you look at things that way, wee'd be endlessly donating to other countries. Sometimes, it makes sense to donate to something which affects you a bit more.

Most of the money that is donated to pakistan ends being used to buy weapons.

Yeah got to agree with this, it would seem that when donating to certain countries that it is less regulated. but when donating to something more specific like education money would acutally be going for education and nothing else.

Damn that's a lot of money.. I agree though why donate money to some country that prob most of the money will be 'borrowed' or misused somehow - 3rd countries politics are bad.

Donating it to the US School System would def help more.
