Yutaka Yamamoto or better known as Yamakan, director of some "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" episodes, is now a target of some angry otakus after he publicly "beheaded" K-On's Ui. Details after the jump
During an interview of some well known directors, Yamakan talked about K-On and was enumerating the cast and when he's about to mention Ui:
Quote: K-ON!’s… What was she called now? I forget… the one who isn’t Yui. What was her name again? Ah, who cares….
[Upon being handed a Ui Nendoroid he proceeds to pull its head off]
His action triggered the yandere inside a lot of otakus, resulting to protests, insult and some even threaten his life.
Yamakan's action may or may not suggest his hate for K-On, due to the fact that Haruhi Suzumiya was dethroned on the most favorite anime in Japan. What ever his reasons may be, He must face the fact that a bounty is now placed on his head by the K-On fans.
