ive  been messing with this iphone 2g 3.1.2 all day

i finally had it done, then it froze.
now it just hangs at the apple icon.
i can't enter dfu or recovery mode :/

can anyone help please!

stupid fudgeing ipod, 10 hours on this fudgeing thing so far!



would anyone like to help me jailbreak and unlock it

im no newb to this but fudge its getting frustrating

well this iphone kicked my donkey.
i started working on this thing at like 8am
it started at 3.0.1
i updated to 3.1.3 thinking jailbreaking wouldnt be a problem, seeing as i did a ipod touch the night before.
well i did it with spirit, big mistake
it worked for about, ohh 1 minute.
i was putting in the internet code when the loading animation started in the middle of the screen and it froze
then it resprings and nearly all the app icons are GONE.
right away i was like awww fuk.
ive only seen this happen once before, and it was on my dads iphone.
i messed with his for a few hour but couldnt figure it out, he did somehow be cause he told me some time later.
i was able to restore by entering dfu mode by using shift + restore no prob
this is when the damn trouble began.
it was no longer activated, poo poo. and i don't have a valid att&t sim
after that i made a custom ispw with snowbreeze 3.1.3
i try and load it with itunes and it fails. poo poo
then i see, oh i supposed to use snowbreeze 3.1.5
i rebuild it, and it fails.
then i see oh i have to use ireb to get passed the errors
it say just press the button and wait for the program to crash, seriously that's what it said.
nothing happens, the damn program don't even crash :/ when i want them to, they don't
oh i need the new version of ireb?!
that still doesn't work.

what the hell!
then at this point i down grade it to 3.1.2
and now im trying to use redsn0w
same thing i go through multiple versions of this poo poo and it don't work
for some reason its wasn't going into the proper "full" dfu mode
grrr
okay i knew about blackra1n before i started, but i figured it to be old and out dated.
but oh well ill give it a try.
i restore and run blackra1n. and for some reason i don't notice its activated
so i looked for a second for a hacktivation for it
but for some reason i tried it and voila i had access.
sweet, now i run blackra1n on the iphone, and install cydia
i run cydia and let it install all its goodies
then i install installous.
okay now i need to unlock it.
i goto install blacksn0w in cydia but it just hangs.
the it goes to the apple loading screen and loops and freezes, then reboots try's to load, freezes and repeat
i held the power and home button for ten seconds to put it into dfu mode.
it attempts but actually turns off.
aww fudge, i think its completely dead.
i mess with it for a while and nothing.
itunes won't recognize it, nothing. poo poo
then i posted this thread.
then i held the buttons for about 1 minute, i don't i was just holding on for a while and bam i see it pops into recovery mode

i restore it again and run blackra1n
i attempt to add the blackrain source again and it does it again, just hangs.
anyhow, i was downloading some custom ispw made by pwnage tool, that i couldnt use from the get go because i don't have a mac.
that was to solve all my problems.
so i restore it to the custom ispw annd bam, bootneuter pops up
it tells me it fixed the bootband and some other band andi was ready to go.
it reloaded and i launched cydia.
it took forever for it to load up its stuff.
i goto the sources and hackulos is already installed, sweet!
so i installed installous
downloaded the i am tpain app
installed it
commenced to write this little story.
gawd if this was my iphone it would have went into the wall hours ago, but its a friend of mine who will do my any favor i ask.
so yeah.

i can't even tell you how many times i had to restore this damn thing.
