i require a bit Window 7 help :P
first: MSN and window live mail used to hide from the task bar and only exist as a icon in the bottom left corner, now MSN doesn't show there, and it appears as 2 bars in the task bar. any idea?
2nd: is there anyway to make the taskbar smaller? it looks kindda fat.
3rd: when i pin My computer into the taskbar, and click it, it goes to the stupid library thing, which i probably never use. anyway to pin down Mycomputer as usual?
can't think of anything else as of yet. anyone have any idea?

RE: i require a bit Window 7 help :P
1) No, they are always minimized to the task bar
2) You can, right click >> properties >> use small icons. You might find it exceedingly small though >_>
3) Not sure, but you can make a toolbar, right click, toolbars, New toolbar, select computer, open, and youll have a "My Computer" access point on the right, which you can right click and open - but honestly why not just use the taskbar to pin programs and use Objectdock for folders and such? I use Objectdock for all of it ^_^

RE: i require a bit Window 7 help :P
number two solved. :P thanks sensei. it's perfect.
and what do you mean with 1)?
when i was on vista, if i ctrl+F4 it, it hides from the taskbar, only show up as a icon over the bottom right corner. same with WLM, except it's minimize instead of Ctrl+F4
the toolbar thing works, but i only want it as a icon =/ not a massive button

I don't know how ure gonna get the button, you can try making the toolbar smaller by unlocking the taskbar.
as for 1) I mean I can only minimize to taskbar, not to the tray, annoys the hell out of me.

To change explorer
Unpin it
Go to the start menu, type explorer, right click on the Windows Explorer option, and select properties.
Change the target to this
Click Apply, go back to the start menu, find explorer, and pin it back to your taskbar. Problem solved
