Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I'm having some problems with some of my discs for Age of Empires 3. There are 3 discs, and the way it is packaged makes it very easy to get scratched. And it has. The first game disc no longer works when trying to install it.
P.S. I actually made a thread on this a while ago, here.

Anyways, what I remember doing last time was downloading ISOs of the CD's ( :O ) and mounting those, then using the CD key that came with the copy I bought. When I tried this this time, it did not work, and said that it was not the correct CD key. (There were CD keys provided with the download.)
Should this work, or should I try using the CD keys provided in the download, and then install the expansions(Warchief+Asian Dynasties), and everything would work out okay?

If I was in your shoes I would probably just download the entire game and the expansions all at once. But that's just me.

download the entire thing. or download aoe 3 and use the key from the download n use your own key for expansions if you want online play. to just play single any old key will do. i even have a few lol
