Holiday season
Okay so holidays are come, in Australia wee get 6 weeks of rest for Christmas/end of the year so this is a very good time to watch some anime.

So what would you guys say I should watch?
Should I request a certain Anime DVD (or manga) for Christmas?

etc, etc, etc.

If I have any reason to this is a thanks in advance.

RE: Holiday season
Well, it may be worth having a look at the Winter Anime to see if you'll be picking anything up:

Indeed, note most start in January >> http://www.fansubwiki.com/

As for getting Anime on DVD.. its only worth it if you really love that anime, IMO.

Heres a few random recommendations for you two:

Clannad (Drama/Romance)
Kanokon (Ecchi/Comedy)
Kimikiss Pure Rouge (Romance............. Drama sort of)
Rosario + Vampire No actually I can't recommend that - only for people who care about panty shots >_>
Shuffle! (Romance/Fantasy)
and finally one I just finished..
Welcome to the NHK! (Drama/Comedy - ecchi references are inevitable)

Pretty sure he mean "request" as in get a reserve from the library.  Don't know about where you are, but in Australia (at least the parts I know of), you can do that for free.

Man, I should go rent some box set or something.
I have so much free time on my hands of late.

By request I mean recieve it as a christmas present, so therefore I'm not the one paying for it.
