I was just thinking about Kindergarten. Has anyone ever brought any form of food or snack to Kindergarten, or maybe a few grades higher? The teacher would always say the same old, "Did you bring enough for EVERYONE?" when they were trying to chastise you. Fuck, no, bitch. I am not going to evenly distribute MY food. I got this, or someone gave me it. Everyone else in this class doesn't have anything, but why does that mean I have to be the same? Maybe I'm better than the rest of them? At least my parents love me enough to feed me! COMMIE!!!!

Never had to share food over here - often considered somewhat unhygienic.

Though wee had to share some really stupid things in primary school. Like everyone had to buy a box of tissues and it would get shared around (basically they'd have one box at the front if people needed it, and when it ran out, they'd swap with someone else's box - you never got to keep your own). [so you'd get the cheapest box of stuff so others had to suffer, lol]

They don't usually actually do it. It is mostly when you have like 1 cookie, and you take it out to eat or something, and the teacher sees you. She knows you don't have enough for everyone else, so she'll just take it away from you... and if you try to eat it before she does, then you are taken before the principal... sounds more and more like my dad's stories about his childhood in communism as I think about it... lol

I remember that from kindergarten.
I wish I knew what communism was back then - because I would have definitely confronted my teacher with the argument.

I am also left handed, and remember them trying to force me to use my right hand!
I obviously didn't work, as I still write left handed. :p

What the fuck kind of school did you go to that the teacher took your food and ate it? What if that was your lunch? I'd roundhouse that ho.

They did try to do that to me though. But only because I was able to write with both hand. Ambidexterity For the win. But now I'm just left handed. Meh.
