problems using pandora battery with a psp-2000
okay, I've got a get cfw on a brand new psp-2000 in less than 24 hours, as the person I am doing this for is planning on shipping it as a birthday gift in the morning. so, I made myself a magic memory stick, grabbed my pandora battery, and tried to do what needs to be done....
however, for some reason, i can't get the pandora menu to load up on the slim, yet if I put the same memory stick and battery in my psp-1000, everything comes up as it should. so, here's 2 questions I need answered VERY SOON
1) why is my pandora battery working with my phat but not with the slim?
2) when I couldn't get my pandora battery to work, I tried something I probably shouldn't have by trying to turn the slim's battery into a pandora battery, and now I can't get it to work right. Is this fixable? (I seriously hope it is.....)
EDIT: As for the battery problem, I put it in the slim and it works, which means that the battery may have just been.....dead. Not sure why I didn't think of that to start with....

Have you considered that it might be the mobo?

if so... i think the only option is either get one that isn't ta88v3 or change the board :/
idk if ChickHEN works for that board :/
did some more looking, seems that ChickHEN will work with that board (and may have been developed for that very reason). I'll give it a try and hope for the best

It doesn't matter what mobo the psp has, as long as the firmware is 5.03 or lower it is compatible with ChickHEN.
So yeah, use ChickHEN and then Hellcat's Recovery Flasher or XGEN Updater, depending if you want M33 or GEN firmware.
My Daleks, just understand this; if you choose death and destruction, then death and destruction will choose you.
