PSN Blocks M33 Firmware but not CFW 5.50 GEN-A
Sony has today made a big maintenance to Playstation Store, which blocks the access of
M33 Custom Firmwares and CFW 5.02 GEN-A.
Even using version.txt (Set to 5.51) would not work..

its works for me and I'm cfw M33
I'm french but I will not sell you the GEN cfw......

And I wonder what ever happened to DaX lately? He's been silent...
Yeah, I'm on 5.00M33-6, and I can't access the store.
Sony's logic is pretty flawed. CFW users aren't gonna convert to OFW, and Sony blocks CFW from buying games through PSN. Doesn't that increase piracy?

Someone on QJ said this "Can't play Resistance Retribution online, Syphon Filter : Combat ops, Playstation store." Does that mean online play for certain games won't work, either? Can anyone verify?

you have brought up a very good point. i noticed that since a couple of days ago that i can't get online with tom clancys rainbow 6 vegas, when i could get on fine last week. i says somthin like it can't connect to the surver. this is suspicious

did anyone think that maybe its just ANY firmware under 5.50 that can't access it, not necessarily a custom firmware?
I am flashing oFW 5.00 to see what happens...

*CONFIRMED* Official Sony Firmware 5.00 says 'A system software updats for the PSP system is requried' when i try to connect after a fresh install of OFW 5.00 and 5.50.
So it is nothing against custom firmware! It is only a fight against firmware under 5.51!!
