Help with buying a PSP Slim.
I'm in the market for a new PSP. However I have been out of the loop as far as PSP hacking is concerned for quite a while.
Right now I have a phat PSP that already has the latest custom firmware installed.
What I want to do is buy a new PSP slim.
What should I look out for?
Are there certain models that are unhackable using a Pandora battery or are incapable of supporting custom firmwares?
Anyway to identify such models by looking at the packaging?
Thanks for the help.

RE: Help with buying a PSP Slim.
try and find a PSP-2000 its fully hackable,. with exception of few rare new motherboard's < not sure wich type's
else you have to buy a PSP-3000 but the screen is less quality and "for now" you can only emulate the cf on a 3k
If i am correct you can emulate cf on every PSP if you have firmware 5.03 with HEN cf enabler,../
you could also wait a few month's for the PSP-go!! :)
pandora only works on the PSP-2000 not on the PSP-3000!!

RE: Help with buying a PSP Slim.
As far as I know all PSPs (including the 3000) are hackable unless they have i think it was 5.50 or higher that chickHEN won't work. Though Apparently there's an 'exploit' in the works for 5.50.
A far as I no there's no way to identify what PSP you'll get by the box.
If a Slim PSP has 4.01 or higher it cannot be hacked by Pandora's battery.
That's probably all I really have to say.

if you mean cf emulation/enabling yes,. once you turn off your 3kPSP you have to enable the cf again with HEN! so not full flash0 suport but yes hackable,.

RE: Help with buying a PSP Slim.
The damage:
PSP 3000 Series
Firmware: 4.21
I'm going to try to research my next step but I would sure appreciate a nudge in the right direction.
