DDoS attacks
Recently, bored, at work, i got to reading Micromart, as i usually do, and stumbled across an interesting artice, based around this website. UK based EPeoples may know of the goevernment plans to record all communications, whereas this may be new to some.
However, it got me thinking...isn't this technical a DDoS attack...its an organised attempt, on a set date, to flood her server, exactly as a DDoS would. As result, if it happens, is it prosecutable. Is the man who suggested this a criminal...is Facebook breaking the law by letting them plan this. Is whoever hosts the website in violation for allowing the planning to go ahead...is micromart breaking the law by encouragingit...is everyone who takes part liable for conciously taking part in criminal activities...
Theres a lot of people who could be prosecuted for this...will anyone...

RE: DDoS attacks
A DDoS attack is designed to deny legitimate access to a server. Flooding an email address seems more like sPa/\/\ than DDoS.
Interesting move, though I think it goes a bit too far.
Can't say much how much it's prosecutable though.
