SETI@home lets you participate in the “Search for extra-terrestrial intelligence” by contributing some of the extra computing power of your NVIDIA® CUDA™ enabled graphics processor when you’re not using it.
SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) is a scientific area whose goal is to detect intelligent life outside Earth. One approach, known as radio SETI, uses radio telescopes to listen for narrow-bandwidth radio signals from space. Such signals are not known to occur naturally, so a detection would provide evidence of extraterrestrial technology. You can participate by running this free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data. And now, with this CUDA GeForce GPU client, your system can deliver as much as 10 times the computational power of an average home PC CPU.
System Requirements:
CUDA enabled GPU (NVIDIA GeForce 8-series or later), 256 MB RAM, 1 GB or higher recommended, PCI Express or PCI Express 2.0 compliant motherboard, Microsoft Windows Vista, 32-bit or 64-bit, Windows XP or Windows XP Professional ×64 Edition, 50 MB of available hard disk space, Latest NVIDIA Driver

Have't tried it meself, i am running Folding@home with my GPU.
There are some new 200 series come out this week! and some 200 graphics cards are really cheap already!but yes you need CUDA suported graphics card to run this program.
ATI has some things like Folding@home - can't seem to find the page which lists stuff using ATI's stream processors.
My GPU is already too loud - I pulled out the fan and downclocked it as far as it would go, so it doesn't have much power >_>

so I guess there goes that.

Heh, I'm also on integrated. But my integrated is pretty good (for integrated standards). Probably around equal to my moms laptops dedicated graphics card. Plays HL2 on high settings without lag.

Buy A real graphics card!! wuzzy's!!
" pulled out the fan and downclocked" O_o
Well, he hardly plays any games, so whatever, doesn't effect him that much.
