Converting Wav to Atrac3 in vista ....help
Can somebody please convert this file to atrac3 ,for opening.prx.
I have been trying all night with varoius apzz and no succes.
MAybe cause i have vista64 or maybe im just stupid and can't do it.

To install the ATRAC3 ACM codec on 64-bit Windows, you have to do some special things (by default, the system installs things as 64-bit, but the ATRAC3 ACM codec is a 32-bit one).

  1. Grab the ATRAC3 ACM from here http://www.minidisc.org/atrac3.zip
  2. Copy the extracted .acm file into Windows\SysWOW64
  3. Open Notepad and paste in the following:

    INI
    1
    2
    3
    4
    5
    6
    7
    		 
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32]
"msacm.atrac3acm"="atrac3.acm"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\drivers.desc]
"atrac3.acm"="Sony ATRAC3 ACM"

    Save this as something.reg

  4. Run this .reg file, adding the info to the registry
  5. This should register the ACM codec, so you can now use Goldwave to save as ATRAC3.






Anyway, here's the .at3 :P
