PSP homebrew developer SuperFury1 has released PopStation PSP. As the name suggests, it's a port of the
PopStation application that runs on the PSP. PopStation is an app that converts PSOne games to work on the PSP.
It's only been tested on 5.00 M33-4, but it's a good start. Here are the release notes:
popstation is a pc application that converts a PSX ISO/BIN to a PSX EBOOT.
The package can be found on my site. Within the package there's also a manual (manual.txt).
To install, simply copy the folder in the package to you PSP GAME folder.
All there's left is to test it in different firmwares. I know it works under cfw 5.00m33-4 (that's the one i used).
If you have any questions on the app or if you wish to discuss it further, you can visit our forums after the link below.
UPDATE:
v2.0: Added a list of psx titles & IDs. It will now change the psx EBOOT save id,
game title and game ID, according to what game you select (list is retrieved from
psx.db. The psx.db file might be outdated, search Google etc. to find the most recent one).
Thanks for the news silver , wee should call you Golden. Pops emu is a good idea , still having the Soni one.
If the creator could increase compatibility and also try to work out the bug of using theme and playing PSX games.
Some times when theme for the PSP is used and Pops default crashes ,i know its theme creating fault ,im not trying to say its theme creator fault , but if he could work that out then this app is way good for me.
Me still plays Doom on the PSP and yeah i ran into some troubles using my old themes before.
