Are you an Anime viewer that checks the Staff Listing of a production for knowledge and/or to see if it will be a good/bad Anime?

No

For book authors, perhaps, but for anime/movies/TV shows, typically no.  For the former, it's typically one person so you can sort of guess how things turn out, but the latter typically involves many people, so it's hard to guess what the combination will produce...

Check staff listings of producers? Errr... yes, I can perfectly understand and remember all these Japanese names... (Sarcasm)

Staff listing of fansubbers? Sometimes I do just out of interest (mostly when they suck, or are actually manage to impress me). But not really.
