Need to clear some stuff up...
I've been busy studying lua (and C at the same time), and seemed to have lost a little bit of track of what's going on with 3.40.

I was wondering if someone could clear a few things up for me.

1) Can 3.30 use the decompiled 3.40 .rco files?

2) does 3.30 support the 3.40 custom music visualizer rco?

3) Can 3.03 users use the new decompiled 3.40 topmenus?

4) what's the deal with wallpaper on 3.40?  Is it possible to have a high res bg in flash0 without corrupting the xmb submenu icons?

Thanks in advance.  :D

RE: Need to clear some stuff up...
That answers some of my questions.  but what about the  3.30 compatibility that I asked about?

well, if anyone has info on 3.30 compatibility with these 3.40 decompiled .rco files please do post....

I need info for the Theme Flasher I wrote. (I'm currently working on a update)
Thanks for the help guys  :)

Here's my understanding so far:

1) I know it can at least use the top menus

2) ?

3) NO.  not without converting them

4) Yes, but I haven't heard anyone confirm 480 x 272

I'm on 3.40 OE now.  I just updated from 3.03 OE-C.  I'm not being picky, but I am writing a flashing app, and need to know these things...  And I don't want to down/upgrade my PSP 1,000 times to figure some of this stuff out.  so thanks to all for the help.  :)

RE: Need to clear some stuff up...
On 3.30 OE-A, I'm using a decompressed sysconf_plugin.rco and topmenu_plugin.rco.

I'll flash some other files later to tell you if they work or not.

But in theory they should all work. As long as they aren't missing anything it should be okay.

3.03 should be able to use the 3.40 decompressed RCOs

RE: Need to clear some stuff up...
Let's see, 3.03 will be able to use all the 3.40 RCOs - just Certificate Utility won't appear for topmenu.

For 3.30, it'll work with all 3.40 RCOs, except topmenu will probably brick.
