I fixed mine for ~41 AUD!!! With the help of squee and some others!!! EASY!!!! Seriously you can fix a screen in less than half an hour!!!

I fixed mine for free.

Well, it wasn't the screen, it was just the back light fuse; and technically, I mooched off my dad's soldering iron and solder.
