I seriously think my little brother, Fred, is the best little brother I could ask for. Despite our fighting, and our religious differences, he's a great guy. He's 15, so he's gonna be a sophomore next year. He's a really good guitar player, always talking about great guitarists and guitars, always in his room playing something.

He decided he wanted to do something awesome for me for my graduation present, so my brother, who is normally a very lazy, not very proactive person, studied the circuitry and components of guitars for a week. He learned how to do basic soldering and whatnot as well. He got an old guitar I gave him 2 years ago, an old, kinda beat up, but still excellent quality Austin guitar, and took it with him to his manufacturing class. He disassembled the entire thing, taking the circuitry out and setting it aside, disconnecting the neck, and trashing the old body. He then made his own body from scratch, shaping it his own design and everything, and he's gonna custom paint it. Once all is said and done, he's gonna present it to me on graduation day. Seriously, I don't think there exists a cooler gift. It's not everyday you get a guitar with a custom body and paint job from your guitar prodigy little brother. I can't wait until May 30, when I graduate and he'll have it finished. All I know is that he's doing it, I have no clue what it looks like/will look like. :D

lol pretty nice man, considering your brother is my age its not something i would do (then again i don't think i would go through all that trouble because my siblings don't like guitars anyway)

I'm the one before youngest child of my family - 3 sisters and 2 brothers..
