Mc Cabe Wrote:Well I have started to learn and have been following these great tutorials however, I received the error Quote:"Installing libz into C:/pspdev/psp"
The syntax of the command is incorrect.
make: *** [install] Error 1
when typing make install for this part of the tutorial. If anyone knows how to fix this I would be most grateful as I would be able to continue progressing through the tutorials and maybe even make a crappy entry for this comp.
1st, It's zlib not libz,
2nd, That tutorial is for adding to a cygwin install not the precompiled toolchain,
-edit-
Rule 3 says that it has to be compatible with custom firmware 3.90 M33-2 so your going to need an updated pspsdk anyway,
that tutorial worked fine on my pspdev environment it doesn't matter if your using cygwin or not.
and ya hibby's right its zlib. lol
and finally you can use the original SDK as long as your not using kernel functions and its still compatible.

RE: PSP-Hacks Homebrew Competition
Results from ℋiЬЬyℬot™ - "better than Google"There has been a lot added to the pspsdk since the Win32 precompiled toolchain was made,
I'm sure an up to date version is better than an old version,
