Stupid question, but have you enabled No-UMD in recovery?  And maybe tried the different No-UMD options?

you know what, I'm suprised something that obvious didn't pop up. sorry for my stupidity. let me check...

right now, it's set to m33 no umd driver, and doesn't work
the sony one, doesn't work
the oe isofs legacy, doesn't work
putting it back on normal, doesn't work,

so to answer your question, yes.

i suggest u use hellcats pandora maker for 3.xx

search for it in dl.qj.net :D

it always worked for me

PSP 1.5 got on USA first day is was 1.5 till  Xmas 2006 now 4.01 M33 » 5.00 M33-6(with the 1.50 addon)
It a good idea to have "Hide extensions  for known file types" in Folder Options(under Tool) unchecked (turn on extensions)

custom theme installed?  

Are you using a compatible battery?

If you are using a slim battery then you need a special pandora's maker and custom ipl won't work.

Here's the link to the slim pandora's installer

New psp batteries are also reported to not work so be aware.

u need to run the pandora battery installer in 1.50 kernel
if u use hellcats installer then use 3.xx kernel

okay, in order:

yes
yes (on my phat)
I'm making the battery FROM my slim, I'm making it for my slim
my phat psp is really old. It came with firmware 1.0.


I can't use hellcat's like i did before becuase it downgrades straight to 1.5, and if you haven't read, slims don't suport that so it would lead to a brick. I would use hellcat's in a heartbeat if i knew how to make it go straight to 3.60 M33
