hmmm a tutorial eh, I havent done one of those.

you tried the PSD resource thread? you can see what I do with my sigs ,but ok I will make a tutorial ,maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, depends on the time I have.

don't worry, alot of people don't know alot of stuff.
like I didnt know the magic of the reduce noise filter until a few weeks back, now I use it in almost every sig :great:

it is not transparent, it is a clipping mask, so here are the steps.

1. make the sig
2. type in your text.(better if its a fat text)
3. hide your text.(the eye thing beside the layer)
4. apply image (image>apply image > ok, or ctrl + shift+ alt + E)
5.make sure the applied image is on top of the text
6. unhide text
7. right click text layer> rasterize layer
8. select the apply image layer
9. apply clipping mask ( i think ctrl+alt+B, or you can find it somewhere)
10. move the applied image layer around until you find a position you like.

I will have to try this out Soon.
