3.71 M33 in my opeain is that weirdest  CFW yet !

                      But it is the best wee have & that's something to be grateful for. First wee can't over look what it takes to even get to 3.71 M33 its a chore at best, "& yet its some of DAX's finest work" So lets talk about what it takes to get to
3.71 M33.

                       First if your on any sony FW higher then 1.50 your going to need to downgrade to 1.50 sony some how.
This is the easy part LOL i recumend finding a pandora battery, With a extended menu. this will install a full 1.50, unlike just parshol install of 1.50 with the good but underdeveloped pandora battery.

                                     Win you get to a full 1.50 ofw you can't just go up to 3.71 M33, I witch it was that easy. But to tell you the truth there is a way to install any CFW with the pandora battery but i have not messed with that yet.
So you need to first get to 3.52 M33... Yeah you still can't run the 3.71 yet, now your on 3.52 after downgrading you may won't to clean your keys. Maybe its up to you some people say you don't need to" Whether or not you decide to at this point is up to you. So now wee should install 3.52 M33-3 or 4 it don't matter,

                      STOP if you don't have your own pandora battery at this point you rely should make one.!!!
The 1.50K & the Recovery Menu is all jacket up on 3.71 M33 tell you add the 1.50-2 add on. :S & there is rely on other way to get back to 1.50 sony if you don't have one.

                            Wee should be all set now to brave the 3.71 m33 cfw now & this is win you start to notes lots of new techniques of installing cfw's. Dax uses sony's updater to fours a cfw install of his 3.71 M3 cfw "Brilliant".
But due to some IPL probs I guess the Recovery Menu will not be at its 100% yet & never rely will. you can not flash yet or Recover to 1.50 & the autorun program at psp/game/boot/eboot.pbp well not work. "Its sad rely"

                                 So now the improvements start coming, First of witch is the first field attempt to fix the accuse the true flash 0 of 3.71, With the first 1.50 add on it was vary good to see them working on it & it worked well but still had lots of bugs :S. Then came 3.71 M33-3 & its 1.50-2 add on witch fixed the flashing for me anyway I have no probs with it :)

                               Sony continues to hit cfw users hard with update after update. even going as far as blocking our     access to remote play with there 3.72 & 3.73 ofw but that seemed to be a easy fix
                                     & dax has yeat to respond to the new ofw's

ever though the autorun program at psp/game/boot/eboot.pbp is not fixed yeat :)

hope 3.8 adds some useful features to warrant a new custom firmware upgrade.

but seeing sony's habits, that's like looking for a needle in the vast ocean.

i like 3.52 M33 for psp phat better and 3.71 M33 for Slim.

3.52 M33 doesn't have any problems in flashing themes and is safer than 3.71 M33.  there are cases of total brick on 3.71 unrecoverable by the pandora without a backup of your nand.

i went through this unrecoverable brick myself but i had a backup of my nand so i was safe.

3.71 M33 is also required for newer games, it also has a nice theme feature even if they didn't go far enough to make it as good as flashed themes.

currently I'm switching between 3.52 M33 and 3.71 M33 from time to time.  ((thanks to my nand backup :D))

If you have 3.771m33 update 2,3 or 4 you are save to flash theme's,..!?

Changes to brick are very small,.. unless you do something wrong,.!

If you got a brick send your psp back to sony,.!?

I got fat and slim both with 3.71m33 update 4 and there are lots of improvements wich 3.52m33 does not have,..

I don't really understand why people stay on 3.52m33 except for theme's that can't be found for 3.71m33,.
But there is loads of 3.71m33 theme's already so,..

Anyway 3.52m33 is good cf too,.!!

i said that because the first time i went to 3.71 M33 there was some homebrews that wouldn't work. so i decided to format my flash 1 and reset my settings. when i did that i bricked with and endless BSOD error and when i shut down the psp wouldn't boot anymore.

i totally agree that the 3.71 M33 has much more features though. well now that i made my psp brick proof with a pandora's battery and a upms memory stick i stayed on 3.71 M33. :)

That's because you had a custom ptf theme selected,.!? wich is stored in the flash1

incorrect. i didn't even knew ptf themes existed that time. i had no ptf themes or any flashed rcos in there or plugins enabled . ((well if i had the plugins i used to use in 3.52 M33 enabled it would make my drive go crazy))
