Windows Vista DX 9.0.1?
I was playing with some system check scripts when I found this weird thing...
What does it say when you run this prog?

It says 9.0.1, instead of 10.0.
YES, I run Windows Vista... :P


If you somehow got version 10.0 and NOT get a error, then post the code that you get in the app here, so I can check if you tell the truth or not... :P


Oh, and Cartman is taking a walk... Don't disturb him!!

im on a mac now :/
but if I remember I will do this when I get home. . .


I am on Vista and My video card is NOT DX10 compatible. . . but when I go run 'dxdiag'
it says I am on DX10!


I guess that's how my Vista is, .. . but I will try your app later.

If ur graphics card is not DX10 compatible, u just won't be able to use the special DX10 features, doesn't mean u can't have DX10

It could be that it is just reading the current mode you are in.

DX9.0.1 = DX9L
