RE: eBayer punts Wii for £1m
I saw the same exact stunt for the 360 when it was released. Some guy was saying he wanted a donation to do something or other in his life.  My thought was "how many millionaires do you know who spend all day surfing eBay looking fro million dollar prices on low price items to help out the little man?"  Whatever... won't wee all look stupid when someone bites.   Also, does anyone else remember the potato chip in the shape of the Virgin Mary that was bid on for 1,000,000 falsely?  eBay is awesome :)[/i]

Best one I ever heard of was the potato chip (what's with the potato chip fetish?) that was in the shape of.. get this..  a vagina.  It was sold for under $5.00.  I'm sorry I can't remember the exact number, but my stupid eBay trivia goes only so far.

$5?

Huh?

There was this Nutri-grain which looked like a person - sold for $1000-3000 (forgot exact price).

Some moldy bread, where the mold looked like the Virgin Mary - sold for ~$2000

These things are not even hard to make, perfectly reconstructable if u tried.

Like the nutri-grain that looks like a person... just get a knife, and if u have any artistic skill, there u go. Mold can also be grown in the shape u want by changing the surrounding environment.
