error this file can't be compressed or decompressed.
This time there is no runtime eror 5.

I used F0 vshmain as header and edited PRX.

after exit i have runtime eror 75.

sorry for the delay in answering - the new version doesn't change the error.
it tries to decompress the file, it then says:

error...
try prxdecrypter on this prx or check your file.

if i try and open the file (it doesn't exist because decryption failed) i then get runtime error 53 and the program terminates.

EDIT: a small thing that may affect what's happening - im trying to save the file as a new file. for example, i load my encrypted vshmain.prx and then i choose to save it as test.prx, rather than overwrite the vshmain.prx.
i shall attempt to save it as the same file name and see what happens.

EDIT: same result - it just doesn't want to decompress this file.

ahh someone else getting the error. i was wondering if it was just me lol.

EDIT: another thing - it doesn't want to compress my file once editted from a plain vshmain also. i don't know if they are linked but it may give a clue to what's happening.

doh. emmmm do you have the vb runtimes installed? or are you running vista?

on topic, everything else works it just doesn't want to compress or decompress the vshmain. i have also tried it on my compressed paf.prx and it does the same. really strange but im sure you will find the bug and squash it :)
