... no offense, but r u new to psp customization? .rar means its an form of zip file, u need winrar to un"zip" it. then, like everyone else has been saying, put the PTF file in the themes folder. The directory should be:

ms0:/PSP/THEME/<theme name>.ptf

what Firmware (version) are you on.

That is the question that needs to be answered

i should read the whole title....

ok

1. download the  .PTF  theme
2. unzip it if it is .zip . use winzip.
3. copy the file to PSP/theme folder on the memory stick.

4. go to settings>theme settings>theme  and select the theme you want.

there's no need to be sorry. Your new, that's all. anyways, let's get a few things clarified

He is on 3.71 Official firmware
He's trying to put on a theme
He's new to customization of the PSP
he mentioned a .rar extension earlier (WinRAR)

that should pretty much bring everyone up to date on what's happeneing. Here's what needs to be done:

1. download WinRAR if you don't already have it.
2. Extract your theme the same way you would if it was a zip file
3. make a new folder on your PSP under the folder PSP called "THEME" (needs to be in caps)
4. If it's a .ptf, just drag and drop into the folder u just made, if not, continue reading.
5. if it's a bunch of seemingly random files and some folders like "vh" "resource" and "module" then contiue
6. go find a really reliable tutorial on "Flashing", i reccomend looking around EP first.

If you still need help, continue on posting
