Yeah, with something like Pandora, it does require a _lot_ of trust unfortunately.

I mean, really, the devs could've made big bucks if they kept it secret for longer...

I don't think it was EVER abou making money, they were just trying to keep it under wraps to make sure it would work on the PSP-2000.

Possibly, but even if no outsiders knew about it, I'm doubting it would still work anyway, considering the fact that the PSP lite is meant to reject 1.50.

Still, if they bought bricked PSPs and sold them, still no-one would know.

Yeah i agree , but since day one , since the leak of the battery im pretty sure $omi has changed the service mode , or maybe only the way it works with Slim , maybe its the second , cause they see all the scene and it was the leak was done way before , first the software , then somebody got by acident the battery. But anyway chinese and us people said already pandora need to be reorganized to work with the new one , and im positive to that..And the PS3shiznit was the problem , damn..

well the battery portion of pandora is confirmed to work on a PSP-2000, however you can't flash it with 1.50 firmware because the mobo doesn't support it, but as DAX has said the days of 1.50 homebrew may be over for good soon and then pandora will work on the new PSP.
