No clue at what I would have to do, just a thought.

No no imwolfuk I meant plugging in a small flash drive with an adapter for microSD or regular SD cards instead of booting off the memory stick, I wouldn't know what to do I do know it would be awesome to hook up a couple of 512GB SD cards and have them taped to the backside of the psp of course I have a big enough memory stick but more is always good as I have 1.5TB's worth of video game music alone.

"Custom Firmware Extender" plugin or "ir shell v5.2" may allow you to flip the memorystick to USB.
This is all I can remember, sorry if its no help.

I've got quite a few of those just in case one ever cracks, I also have about 3 or 4 spare PhotoFast CR-5400 adapters as well. I plan on waiting til SanDisk releases their 256GB microSDXC card on Amazon but I know it will be expensive so I'll wait even longer til the price drops, I have plenty of room on my 256GB (238GB formatted) PSP. I just want it to be an all around media player, having my network settings set to WPAWPA2/AES security has disabled me from streaming my iTunes library with "iTunes-PSP-Server" I selected that security when I first got my new modem/router AIO based off a friends recommendation but I can't connect to the internet. Is it safe to switch to a different security or is there another way of streaming? Possibly with an application? My music collection is too large to fit all of it on one memory stick. Streaming would be my best bet but I hear you can get in a lot of trouble with other security settings, I just don't want anything bad to happen. I have trouble with knowing exactly what will work and what won't I just want internet back on my PSP again! Any thoughts?

RE: Run games off USB mini to USB 2.0 HDD
searched a bit, found if you change "AES" to "TKIP-AES" its supposed to work...?

when I was having issues I changed my router to "WPA ONLY" and it worked.

is TKIP-AES as safe as AES? I literally have no clue but if it works I will definitely give it a try I heard people can jump in on your connection and download illegal things so I'm scared to switch but I really want to use the rss feed/feature again. thanks for helping wolf. any more information about the situation would be good. would I have to reset all the smart TV's in my house if I switched internet security? I would assume so.

"TKIP-AES" should auto select one or the other depending on device (in theory).
"AES" is stronger than "TKIP".

Chances of getting hacked are usually pretty low, but with any WiFi network its a gamble.
Have any people in your local area been hacked? if so then maybe don't bother.

It is likely you would have to reconnect other devices.
