Coming November 2014 worldwide!

The long awaited remake of the the original Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire, which launched for Game Boy Advance in 2003.

I was like my heart stopped for a moment. So excited they announced it today after giving us a bunch of hints inside X and Y.

New world? Wee've already had Ruby and Sapphire... isn't this just a remake?

It is a remake. Probably 'new world' because Hoenn had an awesome landscape and atmosphere overall and with the graphics from X and Y this will be an awesome remake. I hope wee get our secret base :]

I find it hard to get excited about Pokemon now but I do have a 3DS. I played a lot of Sapphire so it might be fun revisiting it.

I love what they did in the Heart Gold and Soul Silver remakes for the DS; I'm sure this will be great as well. I'm looking forward to seeing whatever new features they've added.

OMG YES. I am so excited. Gen 3 was my favorite one. I want my bases back. It'd be amazing if they implemented a streetpass feature with it to showoff your base with other users. There's a lot of potential here.

They're probably rebuilding it from scratch to make it into 3D. Although Nintendo used the word new when referring to the Legend of Zelda remake they did.

Haven't played Pokemon properly since Emerald, and it was my favorite.

A remake of the Hoenn games is well welcomed by me.
