Custom Firmware Help
So it's been a long long time since I've used my PSP, I pulled it out and had a look in the settings and I'm on 5.50 GEN D3.
I pulled out my old copy of the original Spyro and successfully managed to backup and convert it to an eboot, and really enjoyed replaying through, so I decided I'm going to do some of my other old favourite games.
The question I have before I do, is should I be using a newer CFW or adding anything else? I've been reading through many many threads, some are outdated, some are current, but I'm really having trouble working out if I need to change, and if I do, to which, keeping in mind my main priority is playing PSX games converted to eboots.
So basically I want to make sure I have the best compatibility for those.
Thanks for any help in advance.

RE: Custom Firmware Help
If I'm not wrong, most lower CFW have better PSX compatibility. But you can use popsloader if the game not work. (most recommended pops is 3.71 and 4.01). Well you can try one by one. :D Popsloader most being used on higher CFW by the way. Well, you are probably okay with that CFW to play converted PSX Eboot.
Thanks Nanashi!
