Has any real life importance or merit...

This could totally explain why I have no friends and why people don't hang out with me...

and while it might seem like it should depress me,

bro trust me i have a small amount of "friends" but listen to my definition of a friend and maybe it might help you out i know it did for me when i thought about it

Friend- A person who comes into your life to benefit you for a predetermined amount of time then leaves after benefiting you fully to move on and help out another who needs it.
