RE: Wii U?
I have no reason at this time to get one.
Such irony in the use of the word new because it's now the 4th time since 2006 they made a 'New' Super Mario Bros game.

RE: Wii U?
Whoa nice Kuu! ![Adore Adore](images/smilies/adore.gif) I can't wait till the 30th November when the EU launch is and I can get mine^^ The wait really makes me uneasy after the US launch thought what can I do? ![Sadist Sadist](images/smilies/sadist.gif) And how do you like it so far?^^

Uwaa I can understand that console exclusives really can annoy fans like this and you are right it's really a slap in the face for fans when they have to buy a entire new console just to play a sequel of a game you loved >.< Though Bayonetta 2 is a bit of a special case in terms of being console-exclusive since Bayonetta 2 was actually a canceled product and the production was already stopped for a good while until Nintendo stepped in and said "Hey there, wee are going to fund it so continue working!" so it's natural that Nintendo set it as a exclusive if no other publisher was interested in it
Of course the best way would have been if they said "Wee are going to fund it and allow it to be multiplatform!" but this wouldn't have made much business-sense sadly with them launching a new console but who knows, maybe it's just a timed-exclusive and you will see Bayonetta 2 on the PS3 some day!^^

Hmm, I know Nintendo funded the production of the game, and I'm really grateful for that. At this point, I'm just hoping that it is a timed-exclusive and will be available for PS3 (and other consoles) in the future. Well, that's pretty much all I can hope for. ![Hihi Hihi](images/smilies/hihi.gif)

Ah okay alright I see, so you knew about that already^^ And yeah you are right :/ Though a case like this isn't unheard of, for example Mass Effect 1 was a XBOX 360 and PC exclusive for a long time though now the PS3 is finally getting it! :D

RE: Wii U?
How do you think the meetings go when they are choosing what colors to release?
"Okay guys, wee need to choose a color. What color can show the absolute most finger prints?"
"Gloss Black. Has to be Gloss Black."
"I like it. No mater what, it will always have fingerprints. Should wee do just the console in gloss black, or the controller too?"
"Defiantly make the controller in gloss black as well. The more fingerprints, the better, right?"
"I like it. Then wee can release a matte version in a few months and make them upgrade when they are sick of fingerprints."
"Well played, sir."
tl;dr: Gloss Black. Fingerprints.

Holy poo poo the menus take forever to navigate. Everything you click takes at least 5 seconds to load. Even System Settings takes ages to load. And the first time you start it up, it has a massive system update to do.

RE: Wii U?
I saw this. Summary:
Quote:1. The Big-donkey Firmware Update.
2. Brutally Slow OS.
3. Netflix.
4. Tiny Battery in the GamePad.
5. Miiverse, the Social Network in Which You Are Not Allowed to Socialize.
6. Content Transfer From Old Wii Is Terrible.
7. Playing Old Wii Games Is Sub-Optimal.
8. Non-Functional Buttons on the Home Screen.
9. Resistive Touchscreen Not Great for Fingers.
10. Miiverse Is Just Plain Confusing.
Seems you got the top two there.

RE: Wii U?
I heard the moderation in Miiverse is extremely strict. That in mind, do the controllers still take batteries instead of having their own official charger?
