Tried the 2012 Magic The Gathering PC game.  Seems to be more directed at noobs - not a bad job IMO, with preset decks and all.  Although they've done a nice job with effects and such, controls could be slightly better.  But most importantly, I can't seem most newbies really getting into the gameplay much.
A big problem is the inability to make your own decks, or even do much customisation of the premade ones.  When you win a match, you can unlock cards, but you can only choose whether to include/exclude unlocked cards - most of your deck cannot be customised at all.
