So when makeing my new theme i discoverd that the background is not the only thing that can gvie you whte boxs for icons
The size of my top menu is 554kb I even used the compress tool and it made it 512 but that still did not help so apareently above 412 something is to big for the psp memorey so everything has whtie boxs all sub icons and the netowrk icon .. kind asucks... guess I'll scratch that ideal unless you guys have a better way to compress the rcos or maybe somthigni can do to fix it..

Regardless of how you compress, the PSP will internally have to decompress it.  In fact, decompressed RCOs may work better.  RCO Editor internally compresses the images (I was too lazy to implement header compression, Z33's tool does that).
I wonder if not compressing the images would work better (the size of RCOs would be very large though).

But yeah, it's been known for a while that large icons can cause issues...
