Ok, I need some help here.

I recently changed my Modems for an AT&T 2WIRE Modem. It looks exactly Like the Fucker below, With the AT&T Logo.



Now, The thing is that every time Im Using my Laptop or My Desktop the Damn Fucking Error you see in the Image below Pops Up like every 5 Minutes, then It Fixes by it's self, but Fucks up again.

Im tired of that poo poo. I have all the connections where they are suppose to go, but the damn thing still shows up. Now, The funny thing is that it only happens on My Laptop and My Desktop, My Sister has a Laptop, but the Error doesn't shows up to her. Im like double you tee eff!!

If anyone knows about this stupid spoon, please help me out. I'll appreciate it very much.

I have this problem too with my grandmother's. All in all, the 2Wire modem/router is spoon.

When that comes up, I presume non-HTTP (eg ping) traffic doesn't work?

Yeah. Actual network doesn't drop, that just pops up on the browser and it tells you to reboot the modem to fix it. If you close the browser and open it twice, it works again.

As stated above, this modem/router is spoon. I've had experience with it for a while. Even the configuration gateway loads slower than balls.

I've had that router for about three or four years now, it works fine for me. I've got to side with zinga on this one, that page sounds more like malware than an issue with the router, especially because it doesn't affect the other computers in your household.

You could try fiddling with the settings in the router's configuration page for your computers, and you can also reset a bunch of different settings there too. For a 2wire router youll reach your configuration page at http://192.168.1.254 I'd say clearing the IP settings for the router and re-pairing all the wireless devices may help, and its not very difficult. Unless you have a bunch of ports open on there for each device, all you have to do is put the password in again.

Also, try refreshing your broadband IP. That's also a router configuration, but it seems to fit with that error message.

Yes, I had the same problem. It's a spoon router, or AT&T is a spoon ISP.
