Although Microsoft promised to leave the appearance of Skype intact, the new pictures below with the possible interface of Skype for PS Vita looks different from what you are used to from the classic Skype. The pictures of your online friends are on the main screen, while the options will appear in the right side of the screen. It is still unclear if this is the final version, but it will almost certainly look the same.

Intel declared that the new interface was requested by the characteristics of Vita. The facilities and the features of Skype were not changed, but this image lift-up was necessary to meet the customer’s demand.

The gamers need different features, and considering the purpose of the Vita device, Microsoft tried to come up with a Skype perfectly suited for the characteristics of the Vita game passionate. Microsoft still waits feedback, to determine the next developing directions and goals.

It better! It also better have the text chatting feature as well. I hated that all you could do on the PSP was make phone calls >.>
