Sony is still trying to keep the PSP alive....kinda
This fall Sony will be cutting the price of their 160GB Slim PS3s to the price that the new Vita standard model is selling at. But the main story of this months Game con, is that Sony is still trying to sell the PSP to people at an affordable price, minus some features.

The new PSP is to be a budget version costing 99 euros and missing the Wifi feature. Noticable changes are the way the unit is designed, and the extra large UMD tray cover. To be honest, I don't know why they are bothering, is this their way of saying "Wee know every game isn't on the PSN yet, and wee know the Vita won't play UMD's, so here's a cheap solution to play your old games and give us more money".

What do you think? sorry for the stump topic.

New hotter more tastier sauce that's 100% not going to blow your face off because.....its Sony's blog ¬.¬

tasty sauce

Pfffttt...   If it had wifi, I would buy one.  But SONY has stripped too much from this model.
They should just call it PSP lite or something..

It looks like the battery is non-replaceable in the pics too..  Erk
That is always a big turn off as the console life itself will be cut short by the battery life span.   Facepalm
