Lol, I even added a button in the editor - it's the one with the stuffed YouTube icon
Ooohhh... what does this video show? Well if you'd just click play, you'll see clear enough that it is about Homer's Gameboot Logo Remover, as posted by Xandu over at the DCemu forums. If you don't have any heck of an idea what it does, it instantly removes the logo from your gameboot, "whatever it is" (so says Xandu).
Okay, so that may not necessarily be helpful. But these instructions will surely be!
Either use the opening_plugin.rco you have or the one included in the zip
Use Logo Remover and choose the RCO.
Flash the RCO to vsh/resource
Oh, and this disclaimer as well: This program (through software or hardware malfunction), has the potential to render subject PSP units permanently inoperative. Use this software, and/or modification to PSP firmware files at your own risk.
Tried it, and it made my gameboot disappear so i had to restore my original opening_plugin.rco, when I tried to use my original rco to remove the logo it said it wasn't decrypted (duh) so uhhm it doesn't work for me.
You can remove or add back the branding via hexediting, which for me was quite easy. I don't the exact hex lines for it off the top of my head, but I can get if one of ya want to do it that way.
Edit:/ Here it goes:
'Debranding Gameboot"
open up opening_plugin.rco (vsh/resource)
Go to address 0x3A0A (in 3.03 it should be "7D") just replace it with "55"
"Debranding Coldboot Logo"
open up opening_plugin.rco (vsh/resource)
go to address 0x31A0 (in 3.03 it should be "9A") just replace it with "55"
