Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

hey guys,

so im new here, and i have a question. i have gpsphone on my ipod touch and i play pokemon emerald XD

so i used this guide:

to trade my kadabra with myself to evolve it into alakazam !

did everything it says, i can load the game and stuff walk around fight etc...
but when it comes to saving theres a problem, i click "save" then it says that a saved file already exists and if i want to overwrite it. i click yes so it overwrites the old file. so far everythings normal.
but when i enter the game next time it didnt save -.-
what's the problem??? it says the file was overwritten and that i saved everything, but actually it didnt?!
how can i fix this?

is this on GPSP the save does this.

Go into misc options and change the save frequency to on change, rather than on quit

I think its called that, its the one that's not on quit at least

Assuming its GPSP you're on about, this is he most common cause of this issue, my mates had it for ages

Everything i can see says you need to give permissions to the right folders

Do you have SSH configured?

no, is it necessary?

i just don't get that is says that it overwrote the old file, but actually it didnt... -.- not even the original .sav file (which i only put on the pc for backup, i didnt do anything with it) isn't working. maybe the problem is that it was on the pc and once back on the ipod it doesn't work?

i transfered the files from the ipod to pc using ifile.

as you said, the wrong folders had the permissions...
i fixed it using ifile, thanks for the help ;)

If possible, would you mind showing me how to trade and do this? I cannot save either!
