Really late reply, but i wanted to thank all of you guys for your comments; I'm finished my organic chemistry now (finally, whew~!) so i have a lot more free time.

I'm really leaning towards a mechatronics degree at a less renowned university that is ~5 minutes from my house (meaning I'll live with my parents, saving a chocolateload of money), it's a bachelors of applied science so I'm probably going to enjoy all that number crunching I'll probably be doing.
