Yay I finally have some free time tomorrow so I will try to get touran22's and Games like a Grrl's done.  I may also take a shot at cleaning up the first post a bit now that I'm a mod.

@ touran22: I can change the coldboot sound if you upload it, though the sound has to be under 4 seconds long.  I'll still do your coldboot tomorrow and post it here, then if you find a sound you want upload it and I'll add it in.

@ Games like a Grrl: I'm guessing you want the exact same fonts and style as that coldboot?  As for that coldboot image you posted, it's the one i made for myself and everything is on the RGB channels, so it's only 8bit, no alpha channel.  I only use the alpha channel for transparency control, and until recently I never used it in any coldboot because it would always have too many colours.  I have my own (tedious) way now of lowering the amount of colours in the alpha channel though, it's nowhere near exact but it can make a huge difference on some images.  About a tutorial, I don't really know of any off hand, I figured stuff out mostly by searching or by myself.  If you find a tutorial for making icons or any other XMB images though then it is the same thing.

As far as the fonts and style, yeah, pretty close to it, if possible.  I've played around with photoshop, trying to deconstruct a couple of opening plugins to see how they're put together, but never see anything that makes much sense to me, but then again, I'm new to photoshop.  Meh, I'll be playing around with it more, I'm the kinda gal that likes doing mah own hacking whenever possible.  I'm gonna hit the photoshop boards, bug a few folks until they cave in and give me some tips.  Also, I can find Burt Munroy's (I think that's how it's spelled) photoshop books, the guy does some amazing stuff, I used to see him on Screen Savers before G4 took over, and he's on a couple of podcasts I listen to with Pixelcorp.  Thanks.
